One of my favorite mom and pop breakfast diners in California ! They serve up breakfast with at-Home qualities that will have you coming back.
Old school greasy spoon local dinner. Great place, fantastic service, awesome food.
I have been coming here over the pass year they have their days of craziness but most days it’s in & out. People always will have something bad to say when they don’t get their way that young black woman is just straight forward & gets down to it she is doing a great job not let people run over her with their ignorance. Every time i come she’s respectful and nice once i approach her she smiles and so is the Hispanic man with glasses. He is very helpful all the time if the young lady can’t come out in assist he will. Don’t let these reviews fool you. Don’t come in the with no mess they wont send you out packing & upset, just follow the rules stay blessed. happy new year everyone
Not much to say. Will further review this place in the future.
The service there was quick and simple yet the attitudes aren't always good.

Nice mall. Clean, well lite. But the bathrooms were dirty, out of toilet paper and seat covers. There was graffiti on the toilet seats. Most of the parking was for compact cars.
Baldwin Hills Crenshaw has many events that are free and beneficial to visitors. Follow their website and social media for more details. The movie theater is clean, and they have discounted Wednesdays. The food court is nice, the stores are great; only downside however; they removed Walmart. By now, this shouldn't be news. Other than that, it's a wonderful place!
Wonderful program for youth and families 😛
I eat here almost every morning!
I been going for years and even if the stores change once in a while, the atmosphere is always welcoming. They offer free exercises classes and hold events on a regular basis with guest performances and seasonal events. The food court has expanded over the years offering a diverse choice of foods for a reasonable price, and even some upscale restaurants in the mall with great music to pass the time. Plus its close to the movie theater and local business so you can shop, eat and unwind without going to far.
Went to the movies to see fences. Good movie. Arrived at the theater, line was moderately long moved quickly. There was automated machine where you could buy tickets using a debit or credit card. So that's what we did. After purchasing our tickets we went to the snack bar. There were just a few people there, so we were able to get our snacks pretty quick & go in to see the movie. It was great.
Great food, awesome prices, lovable owners.
OMG! I totally forgot about this place. Way back in the early eighties when I was working in the original Crenshaw Shopping Center, we used to order breakfast and lunch from this place. I have personally never set foot in this establishment until today. And if the new Kaiser Hospital venture won't tear it down, I will be back. I grew up around down the street from Aki's Village Inn and my dad still lives near there. I try to take him to breakfast or lunch a few times a month. I Yelped his zip code and came up with this place. I didn't think anything was still open over here because of the pending construction. I told my dad where we were going and he too didn't think anything was still here. To our enjoyment and surprise, Aki's Village Inn is our new spot! The breakfast I had was simple, two eggs, four strips of bacon, toast, & buttery grits. Great diner coffee. The service was personable and fast. The meal was perfect. This reminded me of the weekend breakfasts my mother made. My mid 70's year old dad basically had the same but, he went healthy, egg whites & turkey sausage. The waitress has been working there for over 25 years and knew nearly EVERYONE by name. My dad even ran into one of the members of his church. This is the spot if you want a good southern breakfast. Forgot to take pictures as I was so happy to dig into my meal. Delicious!
This is a great non-profit organization that serves the community through empowering emancipated foster youth.
